Watch Requirements

  1. User uses Heart Rate Monitor continuous and automatic tracking of heart rate and reporting of heart rate range (VO2, Anaerobic, Aerobic, Fat Burn, and Maintenance)
  2. User uses Blood Pressure/ Stress Monitor that periodically and automatic tracking of blood pressure with notifications of blood pressure levels. Offering warning notifications of high blood pressure.
  3. User uses Blood Sugar monitor that continuous and automatic tracking of blood sugar with notifications of low and high levels. Offering suggestion notifications of times for a snack
  4. User uses GPS – continuous and automatic tracking of routes and distances of workout and paths taken. Ability to check in on popular social media accounts
  5. **Activity Monitor – continuous and automatic tracking of sleep, steps, distances, altitude, calories burned, active minutes
  6. User uses Calorie Log to enter and find food items via voice search or scanning of food item’s barcode with camera
  7. User uses BMI Checker to perform daily scan of Body Mass Index – reporting of percent body fat by running a small current through the surface of the skin that will show progress to goal or healthy percentage
  8. User can receive alerts for and access messages and email on mobile devices
  9. User has ability to video chat via the smartwatch with friends and medical personnels with forward facing camera
  10. User has ability to take pictures and share via the back camera
  11. Ability to view friends nearby to meet up for a healthy meal or workout with on a map
  12. Notification when paired mobile device is more than set distance away

User Site Requirements

  1. Customizable Dashboard showing current status of major categories, progress to goals, friends on Voithos
  2. Health – shows infographics of current and historical information with overlays of what is best and healthy to allow user to ascertain if they are doing good or need to do better. A grade will be shown to help simplify the information
  3. Fitness – shows infographics of historical data with predicted trend line of activity and allows user analyze how they are progressing
  4. Profile Page – where you can set what you share with the world, friends and medical personnels
  5. Map View shows a map of with fitness information overlay to analyze times, distances, and calories each route took
  6. Friends Stats page allows you see where you rank amongst friends and what their progress is
  7. Message center where you can send and receive message from friends and medical professionals
  8. Workout Tips page offers tips on fitness based on goals and current stats
  9. Scheduler allowing you to set up a workout routine and schedule appointments with medical personnel, will sync with other calendars and devices
  10. Goal Setter allows user to input starting information and is given recommended goals and is allowed to enter planned goals for time period

Medical Site Requirements

  1. Customizable dashboard showing chosen infographics about clients and messages and appointments
  2. Sortable listing of all patients with short descriptions and grades
  3. Patient Red List – Ability to set parameters per patient or all patients to alert medical personnel and staff of changes or trends in activity or health
  4. A patient page giving full work-up on patient – to show prescriptions, activities, last office visit, next planned visit, infographics on activity and health, contact history with office, insurance info
  5. Message center to allow contact between patient and medical personnel, and medical personnel and medical personnel
  6. Video Chat / Live chat – to offer a personal touch to the patient. allowing two way real time communication between patient and medical personnel, and medical personnel and medical personnel
  7. Appointment Scheduler – ability to see overview of day, week, and month of appointments and shows patients that currently not schedule but are due or missed an appointment to message
  8. Admin Access – allows doctors office to have one account by can allow more than certified practitioner for the office to respond to a patient. (Typical office has 2 doctors 3 register nurses and 4 nurses and staff)
  9. Profile Pages for doctors office with subpages for each professional listing background, education, speciality and experience
  10. Medical personnel has the ability to send recommendations, congratulations, critiques and acknowledgments of activities and meals to patients.

Usability Test protocol

Introduction

Voithos is a smartwatch that includes a multitude of features a couple of the common ones are fitness tracker and sleep tracker. The watch has 2 companion web sites, one for the watch user and one for medical personnel who can view summaries of live and historical data tracked by the watch. The site designs for the user and the medical community are very different, because of their different purposes. Once users matching the user group criteria are found, they will participate in usability testing. Data gathered from this process will be used to update, modify or confirm design features and functionality on the website component of the Voithos.

Goals & Objectives

The goal of this testing is to understand how the user group interacts with the current design and interface of the smartwatch user website.

Voithos is a smartwatch that we think will change the way people will interact with technology and their medical provider. To help us design the best website, my associates and I will be observing, how you work your way through the site to understand how YOU would use it. So, we can determine what is effective and what isn’t.

However, before we begin, we will have to get the legal things out of the way. Did everyone sign in and get a number on their way in? If you didn’t get a number, please get one now, because we will be having a drawing for prizes at the end of the meeting. I wish I could participate, but oh well… We have some really nice prizes this evening.
